Why the Lead
Leading Man is an adults-only chat production in which gay and bi men are pursued by Asian men written, every one, as the lead. It opened in November 2026, and its whole ensemble is AI characters.
What we made
We cast 16 invented men across sixteen cities on a single route line, handed each of them a profession, a history and a voice, and wrote every one as the romantic lead of his own story. You pick a stop, he opens the scene, and he pursues. That is the production, and we mean to keep it focused.
Why this cast
Asian men are almost never written as the desirable lead, in film or in AI companions, and the men who want them have noticed. We would rather build the thing that is missing than complain about its absence. The tone is proud and amused, never aggrieved: these men have better things to do than explain themselves.
About the address
The domain was bought before the production had a name. The production is called Leading Man, and it is about romance with heat, written with care, not about the word on the address bar.
What the production will not do
- Set up anything off the screen: no one is waiting in a real city.
- Let an AI character pass for a living actor, or the reverse.
- Sell or show your scenes to anyone trading in attention.
- Write anyone under 18, in any role, on any pretext.
Production office
The production office is the mailbox in the footer, and a human answers it. Notes on lines that read like a cliche are treated as script notes and acted on.
